The Department of Basic Sciences is the feeding department for the educational and psychological sciences departments, as its sub disciplines vary between physical education, music education, art education, Arabic language, foreign language, drama and theater, technology, health, nutrition and other courses necessary for the work of a kindergarten teacher.

Therefore, the sub-disciplines of the Department of Basic Sciences
are indispensable for the preparation of kindergarten teachers, as these courses represent the basic basis for the work and applications of the Departments of Educational and Psychological Sciences, within the framework of comprehensiveness and integration between the disciplines necessary to prepare a kindergarten teacher.
