It is done by: -

  1. Studying students' social, psychological and educational problems and trying to reach appropriate solutions with students.
  2. Trying to solve the economic problems faced by students through the Social Solidarity Fund for college
  3. Student activities are carried out by:
  4. Development of a plan for various activities including sports, social, cultural and artistic activities to suit students' tendencies and
  5. Providing projects in the field of various activities to the Council of the College Students' Union to assist it in its proposed activities and services for College
  6. Positively assisting in implementing the various activities of the Council of the Students' Union of the College and overcoming the obstacles encountered in order to show up

Through these outlines, the following objectives are achieved: -

 

  1. Developing students' hobbies by providing the necessary possibilities for them.
  2. Investing students' leisure time and organizing it in a productive and cultivatable activity that increases students' experiences and creates leaders who can understand the problems of their
  3. Encouraging the spirit of public service and instilling leadership among students through (public service camps, cultural camps, recreational camps, and ..).

Students' Union:

The College Students' Union is formed annually by electing two students from each academic year for each of the six committees of the Union.

  1. Objectives of the Union: -
    1. Developing spiritual and moral values and national and patriotic awareness among
    2. Students' practice of good
    3. Developing a sound university spirit among
    4. Discovering, polishing and encouraging students'
    5. Disseminating and encouraging the formation of student
    6. Disseminating and organizing activities and utilizing students' abilities in the service of the

 

  1. Terms of reference of the Union Council:
    1. Formulation of Union's policy in the light of the programs submitted by the
    2. Adoption of the various programs of work of the Union Council and monitoring their
    3. Allocation of funds to committees and developing the annual budget of the Council and the
    4. Approval of the final account of the
    5. Coordination of work between the six committees of the
    6. Strengthening the relationship between the Union and other student unions in
    7. Election of the Secretary and Assistant Secretary of the Union Council from its student
  2. Formation of the Union:

The Council of the Students' Union shall be constituted annually under the leadership of the Dean of the College or a member of the faculty and membership of the following:

  1. Faculty Members Pioneering the committees of the Union Council shall of are appointed through a decision issued by the Dean of the College annually.
  2. Trustees and assistant secretaries of the committees of the union Council.

The students elect the members of the Board, including a secretary and an assistant secretary of the Board. The Board's meetings are attended by the President of the College's Youth Welfare Technical Staff who becomes the Secretary of the Board's Fund.

  1. Terms of application for membership of the Union:

  1. The committees of the Union:
    1. Families Committee:

It works to encourage, support and coordinate the college's student families.

  1. Sports Activity Committee:

It promotes sportsmanship among students and encourages sports talent, forms sports teams and holds  sports matches and festivals.

  1. Cultural Activity Committee:

Encourages literary and cultural potential, holds Cultural and literary activities such as cultural competitions, seminars and lectures... etc.

  1. Aesthetic Activity Committee:

Discovers, develops and encourages artistic talents among students, holds art exhibitions and parties to show and encourage students' talents.

  1. Mobility and Public Service Committee:

It organizes scouting and training camps, trips and public service projects.

  1. Social Activity and Expedition Committee:

It works to develop social ties among students as well as between students and faculty and to hold social competitions - organizing trips and recreational social camps.

- University Students' Union

Each University shall constitute the Council of the University Students' Union under the leadership of the Vice-president of the University for Education and Students Affairs, or whoever acts on behalf of the Vice-president of the University. The members of the union include:

  1. Pioneers of the university's Unions of colleges and institutes.
  2. Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries of the University's Unions of Colleges and Institutes.

Students elect the members of the Council, including a Secretary and an Assistant Secretary of the Council. The Chairman of the Technical Staff for Youth Welfare and the heads of the units concerned with the Council's activity attend its meetings.

The Chief of the Youth Welfare Technical Staff will be the Board's treasurer.

 

General instructions for the establishment of activities: -

  1. No activity of the Union Council or its committees shall be organized on a class, political or ideological
  2. The consent of the Dean of the College or the Vice-president of the University in charge of student activity shall be obtained.
  3. The President of the University, the Vice-President, the Dean or their deputies have the right to suspend any decision of the Council that would be contrary to university

 

  1. Social Solidarity Fund: -

University Students' Social Solidarity Funds aim to:

  1. Achieving social security for students like insurance or social care
  2. Contributing to the implementation of services for
  3. Working to solve the problems faced by students which prevent them from continuing their studies because of their lack of financial

The Higher Council of Universities establishes a central social solidarity fund for university students with independent legal personalities. It shall have a Board of Directors to be established under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Higher Council of Universities and membership of each of the following:

  1. Vice-Presidents of Universities for Education and Students' Affairs
  2. Secretary of the Higher Council of Universities
  3. No more than nine members of representatives of institutions whose work is linked to the Fund's objectives, and experts for the proper functioning of the Fund shall be appointed by a decision of the President of the Higher Council of Universities for a period of two

Each university subject to the University Regulation Act has a sub-fund for the University's social solidarity. Its Board of Directors is formed with the presidency of the university Vice-president for Education and students Affairs and  membership of two deans of colleges and head of the university's youth welfare technical staff who becomes a treasurer.

The Fund's Governing Council is competent to:

  1. Work towards achieving the objectives of the Fund at the
  2. Distribution of grants from the resources available for the University for the social solidarity of students to the University's colleges and
  3. Implementation of social services for the university students, which the Board of Directors decides to carry out at a central level of the
  4. Acceptance of grants, donations and wills addressed to
  5. Development of the Fund's annual budget and adoption of its final annual The Fund's resources consist of:

The Fund's resources:

  1. Grants allocated to this
  2. Donations accepted by its Governing Council
  3. Revenue collection from rental and use of canteens, clubs and other university facilities and
  4. Net revenue from parties, festivals and exhibitions held for the
  5. Other resources from other sources for the purpose of this

Each college or institute of the university subject to the provisions of the University Regulation Act establishes a sub-fund for social solidarity for students of the college or institute. A Board of Directors shall be established under the chairmanship of the College or Institute vice dean for Education and Students Affairs, the membership of two faculty members chosen annually by the College or Institute council and the head of the technical staff of the College or Institute's youth welfare and shall be the Secretary of the Fund, and the Student Secretary of the council of the College and the Institute's Student union.

  • This Council is competent to achieve social solidarity for the students of the College or the Institute, developing the Fund's annual budget and approving its annual final accounts.

The Fund's resources consist of:

  1. Grants allocated to this
  2. Gifts accepted by its Governing
  3. 20% of the fee allocated to the college or institute students'
  4. Student Assistance Fund fees performed by students of the college or institute in accordance with this regulation.
  5. Other resources from other sources of this
  • The disbursement shall be by cheques signed by the Chairman of the Fund's Board of Directors and the Director of Accounts.
