Department of Foundations of Child’s Education

The Department Overview:

The Department of the Foundations of Child Education believes in its scientific and research mission, and strives to improve its research performance to enrich academic educational knowledge in the disciplines of the principles of child education and its various branches, that knowledge, which is an intellectual and philosophical pillar that formulates the educational intellectual orientation of other academic educational disciplines on the one hand, and the local community and its educational vision on the other hand.

Accordingly, the department is keen on managing educational research in a way that achieves its vision and mission, starting from the production of scientific research (Master - PhD - research for promotion and publishing), (preparing, training and developing the capabilities of researchers with high research competence and a clear educational and intellectual vision), and developing a map of research topics that serve educational knowledge and its societal applications in light of the needs of the educational field, educational thought and its contemporary strategies locally and internationally, through the vision of the research community in the department represented in the faculty staff members, the assistant staff, researchers and postgraduate students; therefore formulating the research plan for the Department of Foundations of Child Education for the academic year 2017-2018 to be a guide for the research community in the department in directing its activity and research and intellectual capabilities in achieving the department's mission and aspirations in achieving excellence, creativity, and leadership.

The Department of the Foundations of Child Education adopts a philosophy based on directing all academic and administrative activities towards achieving customer satisfaction and stakeholder parties with the continuous development and improvement of the quality of educational service provided to students to reach levels that achieve competitive excellence in the local and

regional labor market, through an organizational culture based on commitment to the

beneficiary orientation, continuous improvement and development, and the participation of management and workers in achieving quality and excellence in performance, with the development of a system for evaluating university performance in all its aspects, including achieving academic standards and comprehensive quality standards to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, training, scientific research and community service internally and

externally.

The Department of the Foundations of Child Education seeks to rise and excel in all fields of child education and prepare specialized and qualified staff to keep pace with the needs of the labor  market to become one of the best scientific departments in this regard in Egypt and the Arab world in 2026

The Mission

Within the framework of the vision of the Department of the Foundations of Child Education, it is necessary to commit to preparing distinguished staff capable of meeting the needs of the local and regional labor market and leadership in the interest in conducting distinguished scientific research to keep pace with global developments in this regard, transfer knowledge, and localize technological innovations, in order to serve the local and international community.

These values stemmed from the agreement of the various parties outside and inside the university (administrative leaders, faculty members and their assistants, administrators, and civil society represented by kindergartens and those in charge of them) as values adopted by the university and keen to adhere to them.
