 Research Plan of the Department of Curriculum and Methods of Child Education

The research plan that is registered in the department for the master's and PhD degrees (ordinary child / child with special needs) is as follows: -

Scientific research is one of the main pillars on which universities rely in achieving their mission, where the elite innovative minds are available, and believing in this fact, the research plan of the Department of Curriculum and Methods of Child Education aims to promote scientific research, believing in the role of scientific research in scientific development derived from the vision and mission of the college and the university.

- It has been taken into account to develop a clear and realistic plan for scientific research to achieve the mission of the college and the university and accurately determine the field of service of the department's research to the university and the community and the activities that serve scientific research in the department, such as workshops, scientific meetings, panel

discussions, etc.

Objectives of scientific research in the Department of Curricula and Methods of Child  Education:

1- Conducting educational research that addresses educational issues and real problems related to the child, preparing the kindergarten teachers and providing realistic solutions to them.

2 - Providing consultations and studies that contribute to the development and modernization of kindergarten curricula.

3- Preparing educational programs for postgraduate studies in light of global trends and local needs to allow raising the level of performance of the department and college and provide a model for other university and pre-university educational institutions.

Suggested research points:

  • Preparing scientific research based on simplifying the sciences presented to the child in the light of modern global trends
  • Designing programs based on the systemic approach to develop different concepts for (normal child - child with special needs)
  • Preparing programs to develop types of thinking such as analytical, critical, creative,… etc.
  • Using active learning strategies in developing different concepts (normal child – child with special needs).
  • Preparing programs for the development of social and moral concepts in the light of the impact of the variables of the third millennium.
  • Preparing various programs to develop skills of the normal child and child with special needs
  • Preparing programs for parents that contribute to teaching the kindergarten child some concepts, skills, and values, etc.
  • Preparing programs with the aim of mainstreaming learnable children with normal children in learning different concepts and skills.
