✨For the third consecutive day, the "Ask a Graduate" initiative is being implemented.
On Saturday, May 3, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the Graduate Follow-up Unit at the Faculty organized the third day of the "Ask a Graduate" initiative (a program for preparing kindergarten teachers in English) in the conference hall of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Sahar Tawfik Nessim, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education and Head of the Community Awareness Committee, and Professor Dr. Samah Ramadan Khamis, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Under the supervision of Dr. Samah Talaat Ahmed Abu Zeid, Director of the Faculty's Graduate Unit. In the presence of Prof. Dr. Samah Ramadan Khamis, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Radwan Radwan Zaham, Director of the English Language Teacher Preparation Program, Dr. Samah Talaat Ahmed, Director of the College's Graduates Unit, Dr. Hager Gamal, Deputy Director of the Graduates Unit, Dr. Rawhia Atef, Member of the Graduates Unit, Assistant Lecturer Amira Tariq, Member of the Graduates Unit, and Assistant Lecturer Mayada El-Sayed Hamed, Member of the Graduates Unit. Also present from the auxiliary staff was Teaching Assistant Heba Kamoun, a graduate of the Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program in English.
? The event was also attended by inspiring, distinguished graduates representing various entities in the public and private sectors, as well as a large number of students from the program at various levels.
? The day's activities began with the national anthem, followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran. Welcoming remarks were then delivered to the students and graduates in attendance. These remarks were delivered by the College's Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Director of the Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program in English, the Director of the College's Alumni Unit, and the Deputy Director of the Alumni Unit. They emphasized the following:
? The need for students to continuously develop their personal skills and not rely solely on academic curricula.
? The importance of leveraging the experiences of previous graduates as successful models in the field.
? Enhancing ongoing communication between different generations of graduates to exchange professional experiences.
? Working to build a strong professional network that supports their career path.
? Praising the "Ask a Graduate" initiative and emphasizing its utmost importance in linking the past to the present and exchanging professional experiences.
? Emphasizing the importance of English language proficiency as a key to unlocking distinguished career prospects locally and globally, and urging students to develop innovative and advanced ideas in the field of early childhood education that keep pace with global developments.
? The need for continuous self-development and professional development to meet the challenges of the labor market.
? The college administration's commitment to providing ongoing support to graduates and students through similar initiatives.
? The need to transfer professional expertise and real-life experiences from graduates to students to enhance their future opportunities.
? Organizing periodic meetings bringing together successful and inspiring graduates to motivate students to chart their career paths with confidence.
? The initiative included two main themes:
Theme One: International Experiences
This theme featured two distinguished graduates who had successfully worked at international educational institutions, presenting their rich experiences and practical expertise in global educational environments.
? Ms. Alaa Hossam Hamid shared her success story. She is a brilliant graduate of the 2023 batch of the English-language Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program. She has created a unique approach that combines her proficiency in the English language with her love of the Holy Quran. She used the language as a bridge to convey religious knowledge to non-Arabic speakers at the Paradise Path Institute in the United Kingdom, contributing to spreading the message of the Holy Quran globally. She is an inspiring model of how to blend passion with mission and use education as a tool to build bridges of communication between different cultures. ? Ms. Fatima Yasser Faraj Abdel Salam also shared her success story. She is a distinguished graduate from the 2023 batch of the English-language Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program. She has forged a distinguished global career path. She began her international journey in India, volunteering in educational programs for children, gaining rich cultural and human experiences. She currently works as a freelancer and collaborates with organizations in European countries, specifically in Denmark, contributing to building an inclusive, multicultural educational environment. During the meeting, Fatima emphasized the role of sustainable development programs in refining her professional character, such as her participation in the "Be an Ambassador" program and her excellence in the "Women Lead" program within the Youth Diplomacy Program (EYDP). She also emphasized that true education begins with giving, not just receiving, and that volunteering was her primary gateway to acquiring the practical skills that qualified her to compete globally.
Second axis: Local experiences.
Four outstanding female students working in private and public schools participated in this session, offering realistic insights into the local labor market, its challenges, and available opportunities.
?? Ms. Mona Akram shared her success story as a distinguished graduate from the 2020 batch of the English-language Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program. She has left a clear mark in the field of local education, successfully developing innovative educational programs that take into account children's individual differences and develop their various skills in engaging and enjoyable ways. During the meeting, she emphasized the importance of linking academic study with practical application, and how this helped her develop effective educational methodologies that suit the local environment. She presented an inspiring model of how to transform theoretical knowledge into educational practices that positively impact children's personalities and skills, emphasizing that an outstanding teacher is a source of inspiration for her children and their community.
?? Ms. Basma Samir Hosni Mahmoud, a 2022 batch graduate of the English-language Kindergarten Teacher Preparation Program, also participated. She faced the daily challenges of educational work.
