The College of Early Childhood Education's participation in Earth Hour

✨✨ As part of the global Earth Hour initiative, the Faculty of Early Childhood Education participated on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 8:00 PM, by switching off its lights for one hour, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and energy efficiency.

This participation was under the guidance of:
Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University;
Professor Dr. Tarek Ghaloush, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development;

and the supervision of:

Professor Dr. Sahar Tawfik Nassim, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education and Head of the Community Awareness Committee;

Associate Professor Dr. Samah Ramadan Khamis, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Coordinator of the University's Community Awareness Committee.

This initiative stems from national efforts to promote environmental awareness and resource conservation, and reflects the Faculty's societal and environmental role in preparing generations aware of sustainability issues. This initiative aligns with the state's vision and ongoing efforts, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, to support positive environmental practices and achieve sustainable development.

Through this participation, the college emphasizes:

🌱 Spreading environmental awareness among students
💡 Establishing energy-saving behaviors in daily life
🌍 Fostering a sense of belonging and participation in global initiatives
👩‍🏫 Preparing teachers capable of instilling these values ​​in children and building a more environmentally conscious generation.

The college calls upon all its staff and students to continue adopting environmentally friendly practices and to work together for a more sustainable future.
