And Professor Dr. Amal Al-Qaddah, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, former Dean of the College and Director of the Program for Preparing Teachers of Integrated Activities in the Montessori System.
And Mrs. Prof. Dr. Fayza Ahmed Abdel Razek - Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Amira Sabry, Director of the Montessori Program Stage, under the supervision of Prof. Maryam Mahmoud, Lecturer of the Practical Part at the College and Director of the Reaya Academy for Developing Children’s Skills.
“Dhay” Festival was held, the first (educational, sports, artistic, and entertainment) festival for ordinary children and children with special needs
In cooperation with the Reaya Academy to develop children’s skills, on Saturday, 12/16/2023, at Al-Massa Sports Club in Damascus.
The festival was attended by Mr. Atef Al-Koumi, former Secretary of the College of Early Childhood Education, Mr. Ismail Al-Koumi, Director of the Community Education Stage at the Dakahlia Governorate level, and a number of school principals, teachers, and mentors.
The students of the fourth, third, and second batches of the Montessori program presented a group of educational, skillful, and artistic methods and activities with the children and parents based on the Montessori philosophy, and presented for the first time activities that they made themselves in a joyful atmosphere. The students also carried out some movement activities with the children on the club’s playground, and drew some Drawings on children's faces in an atmosphere of love, enjoyment and fun.
Thanks are due to everyone who contributed to organizing the festival, especially Ms. Noha Ahmed, Director of the Academy and Ms. Abdul Wahab Hazza, President of Al-Massa Club and Mr. Hamada Hazem, A. Hossam Al-Habashi, and A. Ahmed Magdy and A. Amira Amayam, Executive Director of the Youth Center
The biggest thanks go to the students of the Montessori program for their efforts and being ambassadors for the Montessori program and for a different idea that impressed everyone who attended the festival.
